ASTM A511 tubing is a specification for mechanical applications with high corrosion resistance. The ASTM A511 stainless steel pipe is seamless and has higher dimensional accuracy.

Therefore these tubes are preferred in marine, sea water, food processing, wastewater management, pollution control and in brackish water applications.
